| Q: |
How does I Write That determine the pricing for its custom writing and editing services? |
| A: |
We use a very complex formula to determine what to charge for each item that we write or edit. The end result is high quality documents at a moderate cost. |
| Q: |
Are you willing to haggle regarding prices? |
| A: |
No. You don't go to the supermarket with the expectation of dickering over the cost of a can of creamed corn. It's no different with I Write That. Our prices are an exceptional value as they stand. However, you can get special offers by signing up to our newsletter. |
| Q: |
If you write something for me, do I own the rights to it? |
| A: |
Yes. Regardless of what we write for you, we are selling you the content and the associated rights to it either directly or through syndication. You may find out more about copyright laws at the U.S. Copyright Office website. We may ask your written permission to use a writing that you have commissioned as an example for other clients, but that decision is entirely up to you. |
| Q: |
Why are some writing projects subject to staff review and acceptance? |
| A: |
Certain projects, such as book reports, can be extremely labor intensive. For this reason, it is necessary to determine a custom price based on the requirements. In addition, if we are unable to service your project request based on volume, you do not have to wait for a refund because no payment has been made. |
| Q: |
How did I Write That get started? |
| A: |
The concept of creating documents for other people is nothing new. We just put a different spin on things. The idea stemmed from a noticeable demand for documents from people who had all the research, but just didn't have the time to write them. |
| Q: |
What do I do if I want something written that doesn't fall into your regular writing categories? |
| A: |
Contact us using the form on our website. Give us a detailed description of what you want written and we'll tell you if we can/will do it and how much it would cost. |
| Q: |
Is there anything you absolutely won't write? |
| A: |
Yes. We won't even consider authoring hate propaganda or legal documents. The first is self explanatory, and the other we leave to lawyers. |
| Q: |
Are you hiring? |
| A: |
Yes and no. If you're interested in being part of the I Write That team, send us a few samples of your writing and a writer's resume. We'll evaluate what you send us and if we like it, we'll work with you on a freelance basis. |
