Dear Kate,
We’ve known each other for a long time and I feel as though I can tell you anything. Saying that, I would like to tell you what I am feeling. After spending time with you over the last three years, I have grown to care deeply about you. I know that we are great friends, but I have come to want more than just a friendship. You are intelligent, beautiful, and caring. I think about you often and tell you everything. When something good happens to me, you are the first person that I want to tell. When I have a bad day, you always manage to say or do the right thing to lift my spirits. My life will always be better as long as I have you in it. I feel as though I’ve found the perfect complement to myself in you. Regardless of what we do together, we always have a great time - whether it is hanging out at your or my place, playing pool, or going to the movies. You share my sense of humor and even laugh at my bad jokes. Maybe I am wrong, but I think you feel something between us as well. You’re always smiling when we are together and there have been times when we have looked into each other’s eyes and all that existed in the world were you and I. You deserve better than all of the jerks that you have dated and have been serious with in the past. Why not give us a try as a couple? I think the bond that we have will only get stronger.
